Travelling North from Loch Lomond, there are two ways to reach Innisfree. At Tarbert you can either :

A. continue straight on along the A83 which brings you to Inveraray. Here you turn right just as you enter the village and follow the A819 as far as it goes. Soon after Loch Awe appears on your left, you will come to a T junction where you turn left onto the A85 and drive through the Pass of Brander

or

B. stay on the A82 which turns to the right and continues alongside Loch Lomond till its head at Ardlui. Continue to Crianlarich where you turn left and stay on the A82 as far as Tyndrum. Just after you pass through the village, turn left onto the A85 which will bring you through the Pass of Brander as in (a).
