Plastic cards come in many forms, from basic black or white to the 3D creations which are becoming ever more elaborate.

The first thing to decide is what thickness of card you want. Plastic cards are measured in microns, and a normal credit card is approximately 700 microns thick. From that you can work out roughly how thick each of our cards would be.

A 200 micron card is pretty thin and is extremely pliable, whereas a 760 micron card is fairly rigid by comparison.

As well as all the color options, plastic cards can also be produced in clear, tinted or frosted variations giving some interesting possibilities. Although it is difficult to show these in a photo, have a look at the sample cards in our client list section (Orange Tree Crafts, Coalisland Foot Clinic and Yarro all use see through cards) where we have tried to show some of the cards made for current clients.

Several clients have seen the possibilities of having a high quality plastic card which they give to their important clients, whilst also having a cheaper, board based version which they give out in bulk at trade shows, etc.

Our best selling card at present is the 760 micron black silk finish with silver print. Again, see the examples in the client list section (Dennett Outdoor Ltd., M.C. Studios, Leighton Photographic & Video, Gerard Quinn Photography etc).
